05/06/09We got today, who needs tomorrow?

If you are a student the first couple of weeks of May are always such, that you and most people around you cannot wait to be over. Now, that I am facing my finals once again I am loaded with schoolwork, of course but instead of just getting through this couple of weeks I stop for a second and think to myself:
Why do I want this time to be over? Why do we always want today to be over, hoping that tomorrow will be better? While I am an incurable optimistic and see nothing but pink clouds in my future and in the future of this country, I say to myself:
“Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is Mystery but TODAY is a gift, that’s why they called it PRESENT”
Living in the present is the way to go. The future is guaranteed to no one. There are so many incredible opportunities in the present that the previous generations didn’t have. For example I consider my secret venture, Ivanka Carrington[,Inc] an opportunity. I am meeting great people, travelling to exciting places while getting economical rewards for doing what I love to do.(Isn’t that the very definition of capitalism?) For the time being[ for a young student] this is as good as it can get. I am getting ready for the business school, but quite frankly I think I already earned my accelerated and [virtual] MBA in this very industry.
So those of you who already meet know that I recently started a real venture, which I really enjoy doing And everything I learned in this industry from sales, to marketing and customer service I am bringing into my legitimate venture with me. Cuz I can be nothing but a self made, self assured powerful yet very sexy and attractive exotic business woman. To make money? Not my motivation. I hear you saying:
“Bla bla bla, you already made enough cash off your seduced TEDYBEARS like me.” As you know my mysterious venture is money back guarantee, too. As Henry Ford said: “A business absolutely devoted to service will have
only one worry about profits. They will be embarrassingly large.”
But it can never be free or too cheap. Why? Cuz people value the things they pay for. Nothing is free in this life hun. And too much competition? Guess what? I never worry about competition and that’s where my other favorite Ford saying comes in:
“A market is never saturated with a good product, but it is very quickly saturated with a bad one.”
People are eager to buy. As we know in people like to spend money for things they want to buy. So I will sell them
enthusiastically. Even in this very industry where currently I am operating. There are many girls, but when there is a
hot girl, people are staying in line…When there is a good restaurant, is always packed. A great shopping mall? Etc.
So I am going out to attack the world,,,I hear you saying too risky? No honey, I am afraid of nothing. Cuz today we are 20s, tomorrow 30s and before we know it 50s. Time is priceless. Last month I celebrated my 25^th birthday and guess what I am feeling forever young but at some point I realized that there is nothing to loose. We are just brief visitors here on this planet, and who knows how long is the journey.
I hear people worrying about the economy, but for God sake, do we need to be that pessimistic that you don’t hear anything on the street, subway,etc that how bad things are. Is not that bad. It ould be worse. Besides that its not my problem to solve. Let the people who are in charge of it save the world.
Some of my girlpals are worrying about the risk we are taking in the industry.
They say:”What is other people find out that I am a hooker?” ,etc What if this? What if that? What if…bla b la bla….While there is lill chance, I always say “what ifs” are the words of loosers. Cuz if you are winner you deal with the what if when if the “what ifs” cum up. Most of the time it won’t.
But even if it will everything happens is an adventure. We are here only for a brief visit and there is NOTHING to loose. One day the journey ends and we won’t regret a thing we did.
Guess what we will regret? THE THINGS THAT WE DID NOT DO. THE THINGS THAT WE COULD OF TRIED BUT WE DID NOT, CUZ OF THE WHAT IFS.
So, gentlemen! Go out and attack the world!
Ladies, put a sexy dress up, some make up, heels and go out attack the world, dressed to KILL!
Cuz today is all what we got. Live it with NO REGRETS!!!
